Lorn
Wolf began singing and performing at the age of three in his parents'
family band in Western Canada. He not only gained experience in fine-tuning
his vocal ability, but he also learned to play various instruments,
such as bass, guitar, banjo and fiddle. As he got older, he began
writing songs and started his own recording studio in Canada, producing
his and his father's duet records, and other Canadian artists.
Lorn was influenced by the legends, such as Merle Haggard, Johnny
Cash, George Jones, and Waylon Jennings, as well as The Beatles and
The Eagles.
Lorn played in various bands while touring throughout Canada, before
finally joining up with the group, EAST COAST RIDERS, who were nominated
for Country Group Of The Year for the CCMA.
Lorn decided to form a duo with his father and they performed until
his father passed away. Wanting to continue his career in country
music, he headed to Nashville, Tennessee.
As a solo act, Lorn has won two songwriting contests, and was voted
in the top three out of almost two hundred entrants in the Country
Star Search.
